1. Controller

2. Data we collect

Account data: if you sign in with Google, we receive basic account details from Google (such as name, email address, and account identifier) needed to authenticate you.

App usage data: bike collection, categories, scores, comments, Wizard results, and messages you send through the contact form.

Technical data: IP address and basic server metadata when you submit a contact message (for example, to limit abuse).

3. Cookies and local storage

We use strictly necessary cookies or similar storage: the authentication session (Better Auth) and preferred language (db_locale cookie).

We may also load fonts from Google Fonts, which involves a connection to Google servers. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party analytics at this time.

4. Purpose

Provide the service: store your collection, scores, personal ranking, and Wizard recommendations.

Account authentication and security.

Handle inquiries and reports sent via the contact form.

Improve the app's operation and security.

5. Legal basis

We process your data to provide the service you request (account and use of DreamBikes) and, where applicable, based on legitimate interest in service security or your consent when signing in with Google.

6. Retention

We keep your account and usage data while your account remains active. Contact messages are kept as long as needed to handle the request. You can ask us to delete your account and associated data.

7. Recipients and processors

Google acts as the authentication provider when you choose “Continue with Google”.

Site hosting (e.g. Vercel), the database (e.g. Supabase), and the domain email provider may process data as processors to deliver the service.

We do not sell your personal data.

8. Your rights

You may request access, rectification, erasure, restriction, or objection to processing, and data portability where applicable under relevant law. Contact us to exercise these rights.

9. Children

DreamBikes is not directed at children under 16. If you believe a minor has provided us data, contact us so we can delete it.

10. Changes

We may update this policy. The current version will be published on this page.
